The Adventures of Peter Pan
The Adventures of Peter Pan is a Japanese animation series created by Takashi Nakamura and Yoshio Kuroda that aired on Fuji TV from January8, 1989 to December24, 1989. It is an adaptation of James Matthew Barrie's iconic novel Peter Pan, and it lasted 41 episodes. It was part of Nippon Animation's World Masterpiece Theater, which annually created an animated adaptation of a different classic book or story. While the anime adapts content from the original text, it also includes various original plot arcs. The series was later translated and released in a number of countries throughout the world. It was broadcast on Telecinco, RTL Television, Kika, Italia 1, TV3 and Fox Kids, Yleisradio, and TVP 2 in Europe. It was also broadcast in a number of other countries, including Israel, Brazil, Mexico, and the Philippines.
