The Border
The Border is a Canadian drama that broadcast on CBC Television as well as 20 other television networks throughout the world. It was designed by White Pine Pictures' Peter Raymont, Lindalee Tracey, Janet MacLean, and Jeremy Hole. Janice Dawe is the Production Executive. The first season's episodes were directed by John Fawcett, Michael DeCarlo, Ken Girotti, Kelly Makin, Brett Sullivan, and Philip Earnshaw. The first season had a total budget of $20 million, with around 1.5 million dollars allocated to each episode. The show takes place in Toronto and follows agents from the imaginary Immigration and Customs Security agency. The Government of Canada established ICS to deal with trans-border issues affecting Canadian national security, such as terrorism and smuggling. The CBC announced the termination of The Border after three seasons.
