The Fairly OddParents
Butch Hartman is the guy responsible for developing the animated television series The Fairly OddParents, which airs on Nickelodeon in the United States. Timmy Turner, a little kid of ten years old, serves as the protagonist of this series. Timmy is bestowed with two fairy godparents by the names of Cosmo and Wanda. Oh Yeah! Cartoons first aired the cartoon segments on September 4, 1998, and continued to air them until March 23, 2001. The segments were then picked up as a series, however the series itself began as cartoon parts. Beginning with the sixth season, the show is also produced by Billionfold, Inc., in addition to Frederator Studios. Nelvana International, a Canadian business, was in charge of distribution for the show's first four seasons when it was broadcast in countries other than the United States. The Fairly OddParents has been on the air for more than 16 years, making it the longest-running fantasy TV series in the history of American television. It also holds the record for being Nickelodeon's second longest-running animated series (behind SpongeBob SquarePants).
