The Lot
From 1999 to 2001, the AMC aired the drama-comedy series The Lot for a total of two seasons and sixteen episodes. Each season lasted thirty minutes. It followed the fictional studio Silver Screen Pictures during the 1930s as well as the careers of its iconic actors and actresses. However, Jeffrey Tambor, Rue McClanahan, Linda Cardellini, and Michael York all had noteworthy recurring appearances on the show despite the fact that it was neither a commercial nor critical success. Another meaning of "The Lot" refers to a studio lot in Hollywood, California, that for many years was known to the public as the Samuel Goldwyn Studio.
