The Profit
When Marcus Lemonis isn't busy running Camping World, his multi-billion dollar firm, he looks for other companies that are in financial distress, are in need of cash, and are primed for a corporate acquisition. Over the course of the last decade, he has successfully turned around more than 100 different businesses. Now, he's bringing those skills to CNBC, and he's doing something that no one has ever done on TV before: he's putting millions of dollars worth of his own money on the line. In each episode, Lemonis makes an offer that the business owner cannot refuse: his money in exchange for a portion of the company and a share of the earnings. Once he is inside these companies, he will do practically anything to rescue the business and create a profit for himself; even if it means firing the president, promoting the secretary, or doing the work himself, he will do whatever it takes to save the business and earn a profit.
