Walker, Texas Ranger
Leslie Greif and Paul Haggis created Walker, Texas Ranger, a television action crime drama series featuring Chuck Norris as a member of the Texas Ranger Division. The show premiered on CBS in the spring of 1993, with three pilot episodes. New episodes aired from September 25, 1993 to May 19, 2001, with reruns showing on CBS until July 28, 2001. It has now inspired a made-for-television movie, Trial By Fire, which has been televised in over 100 countries. The film concluded on a cliffhanger that has yet to be addressed as of 2013. All seasons have been released on DVD. Reruns of the show have shown in syndication on the USA Network and Action in Canada at different periods since 1997. WGN America began airing the series on September 13, 2010. The moral principles of the show were well-known. The characters, for example, abstain from using narcotics and volunteer in the community. Martial arts were widely displayed as law enforcement's primary instrument, as well as a way for Walker and his team to reach out to the community on occasion. The show has now gone on to become one of the most popular action shows on television, with a cult following thanks to its camp appeal.
