World in Action, a UK-based Granada production company, started making groundbreaking documentaries 42 years ago. A diverse group of seven-year-old children from all over England were interviewed for "Give Me the Child Until He is Seven and I Will Give You the Man." From ages14,21,28,35, 42 and now49, researcher Michael Apted has re-interviewed the "children."
