Gamon Sakurai's manga series Ajin is adapted into a live-action film. Kei Nagai is killed in a car accident, but he discovers that he is an Ajin, a type of immortal (demi-human). Humans pursue Ajin, who is eventually apprehended by the government and used as a test subject in cruel experiments. As he flees and goes on the run, he meets fellow demi-humans along the way.
