Laura strives to find a boyfriend and a feeling of normalcy, plagued by past trauma and failed romantic relationships, and failures. It is Eva, a superb pianist, who gives her hope. Laura develops a fascination with Eva, despite their odd bond. Laura persuades Eva to flee to her house, and they soon find themselves entangled in a web of deceit and deceitful intentions. Manipulation, denial, and codependency feed a fragmented dynamic that can only last so long.
