Alyssa, a successful photographer, awakens one morning to find her apartment ransacked and her husband mysteriously missing. She turns to his colleague Eve, a talented jazz pianist with a flirtatious charm and disarming grace, without even a photograph to offer the cops. Eve assists her in confronting her husband's long-standing depression and eventually accepting his absence.
