Battle of Westerplatte
This harrowing war film is an epic dramatization of World War II's first battle. The Battle of Westerplatte, which began on September1,1939, will be remembered as the battle that signaled the start of Europe's Second World War. Over the course of a week, fewer than 200 Polish soldiers fought against heavy German bombardment, becoming symbols of the power of resistance.
