Bereavement
In 1989, Martin Bristoll, then six years old, was abducted from his backyard swing in Minersville, Pennsylvania. Graham Sutter, a deranged loner, imprisoned Martin on his abandoned pig farm, forcing him to watch and participate in horrible atrocities. Chosen at random, the vast landscape drowned out the victim's screams. Martin's whereabouts have been unknown for five years, until 17-year-old Allison Miller moved in with her uncle Jonathan. Allison realizes that something is amiss at the farmhouse down the road while exploring her new surroundings. Once the hornet's nest of wickedness and misery is torn open, it can never be closed again.
