In the summer of1965, a young guy is consumed by the idyllic ancient pearling port of Broome-fishing, socializing with his friends, and his girl. His mother, on the other hand, returns him to the religious mission for additional education. After being chastised for a juvenile act of rebellion, he flees the mission and embarks on a trip that eventually leads him home.
