An old holy treasure is uncovered and transported aboard a deep space mining trip to a distant planet, supposed to be proof of God's existence. When the evil item awakens a long-dormant alien race, the ship is turned into a living hell. A prequel to the events of the video game Dead Space, which was released in 2008.
