It's based on the popular 1960s cartoon of the same name. He is a Royal Canadian Mountie. Dudley Do-right lives in a small mountain town. His old rival, Snidely Whiplash, comes up with a plan to buy all the land in town, then start a fake gold rush by seeding the river with gold nuggets. Whiplash's nefarious plan can't be stopped by this unskilled Mountie.
