The Thompson family relies on a friend of theirs, Anna, to watch the kids while the parents go out to celebrate their anniversary after their regular babysitter cancels. Anna seems like a dream come true for the kids at first because she lets the kids have extra cookies and play with things that are normally off-limits, but as her behavior becomes increasingly bizarre, the kids soon discover that her intentions are dark and twisted—and she is not who she seems to be.
