Poppy Wakefield works as a freelance journalist from her lovely home in England in early 2014. When she discovers her husband Stephen is having an affair, her seemingly perfect, albeit predictable, existence is ruined. In disbelief over the betrayal, she seeks solace in a television segment starring George Clooney. George is everything her spouse is not - sophisticated, amusing, engaging - someone who cares about making a positive influence in the world, and whom Poppy believes is her ideal match!
