Horrors of Malformed Men
His memory of his past is nearly nonexistent, but Hirosuke (Teruo Yoshida) remains confined in an asylum. Genzaburo Komoda just died, and the two men share an amazing likeness. It is Hirosuke who seems to have been resurrected, tricking everyone, even Komoda's widow and mistress. To find out more about Genzaburo's web-fingered father, Jogoro, Hirosuke returns to his childhood home on an island near the Komodas. During his time on the island, Hirosuke not only finds Jogoro's aspirations to construct his "ideal community," but also the horrific reality behind his own identity.
