How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Community follows a group of friends who live in Beaver's Ridge, a gorgeous town known for its wholesomeness and strong family values. The return of Cassie Cranston (Jewel Staite), whom they slut-shamed into fleeing town when she was a teenager, throws their orderly lives into disarray. Cassie, now a successful big-city sex writer, returns home to an unwelcoming reception from her old friends, and sees an opportunity to get revenge by writing a book about them when they ask her to assist them in planning an orgy.
