It's 1969, and Young-rae is a 10-year-old child that lives with his mom, who sells smuggled cosmetics. He does not have nothing except a father. One day, however, he hears word that his daddy, whom his mother had stated was dead, was alive as well as a college student in Seoul. In order to see his papa in Seoul, Young-rae tries to make money by marketing ice bars on the street. Yet things aren't so simple, with fast fingers swiping his ice bars and a gang of bullies offering him a tough time. With his buddy Song-su, nonetheless, he bear up. Will Young-rae have the ability to fulfill his father, in spite of his mommy's resistance?
