A look at a dysfunctional family whose matriarch, Eve, is ruled by a domineering craziness. Her recalcitrant husband and three daughters make futile attempts to meet Eve's requests while simultaneously pursuing their own lives. When a cheerful stranger joins the scene, though, all bets are off.
