After a night of backwoods raving and youthful mischief, Maya (Tallie Medel) and Jules (Betsy Holt) wreck their automobile. Freddy (Robert Longstreet), a divorced oil worker, rescues them from the ruins when he sees himself and his repressed impulses in Maya. As Jules heals, Maya and Freddy form a bond that breaks the oppressive stillness of their small-town lives. They quietly encourage one another to pursue their passions (or at least figure out what that might be).
