Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh find a trunk full of Krugerrands during the first chase. They follow the clues to a South African diplomat who is hiding a drug smuggling operation by using his diplomatic immunity. The action goes off the rails when he puts a bomb under Murtaugh's toilet.
