Lorenzo Odone was a typical kid until he turned 7. Bizarre things started happening to him after that: blackouts, memory lapses, and other strange mental phenomena. Finally, he's diagnosed with ALD, an incurable degenerative brain illness. Frustrated with doctors' and medicine's failures, the Odones start educating themselves.
