Ice Cube reprises his role as Craig Jones, a troubled South Central Los Angeles resident. Now that Craig has won a fist battle, he must face off against the neighborhood bully Debo (Tommy "Tiny" Lister Jr.). When Craig's father decides to hide him with his uncle Elroy and cousin Day-Day in Rancho Cucamonga, he runs into problems.
