Pan Xiao, a young lawyer, travels to a rural little village in China's western desert territories to prosecute a falcon poacher who ran over a police officer. Pan uses advanced logic to win the case and coerces the poacher into giving him his automobile as a reward. Then he simply drives home, although the journey will be difficult.
