Sand Dollars
Noel, a young Dominican woman, spends each afternoon on the beach at Las Terrenas. Together with her lover, Yeremi, they hunt for ways to get money from one of the hundreds of tourists who visit. However, Noel has a regular client, Anne, a considerably older French woman who, like many other Europeans, has found an idyllic retirement on the island. Noel's relationship is one of convenience, but their feelings intensify as they prepare to travel to Paris together.
