A perfect example of Alex and Matt's friendship is that they are diametrically opposed to one another. Alex is a responsible, physically fit, and lonely young man. Matt is a child who is immature, overweight, and smothered by his mother. They secretly covet each other's life, and after an unusual meeting with a magical bum, they decide to switch bodies. Realizing that neither of them had it as easy as they had imagined, they begin on an insane adventure to reclaim their lives.
