Summary: Sumikko Gurashi are a group of slightly shady characters who prefer to hide in corners. A polar bear named Shirokuma is sensitive to cold; a penguin named "Penguin?" is confused whether it is a penguin; an uneaten pork cutlet named Tonkatsu; a bashful cat named Neko; and a dinosaur named "Tokage" hides his true identity as one of the last dinosaurs. The series has spawned toys, books, stationery, games, and now a movie.
