An angel tells Noah, a farmer and family man, to construct an ark in the middle of the desert to preserve his family and the faithful from a cataclysmic deluge. The corrupt townspeople, as well as his loving but exasperated family, mock and humiliate Noah as he attempts to fulfill his God-given mission.
