Two small children and the ship's cook survive a shipwreck and find refuge on a beautiful tropical island. However, the cook dies soon after, leaving the young boy and girl on their own. Days turn into years, and Emmeline and Richard build a home for themselves in the midst of exotic creatures and natural beauty. But will they ever see the light of day again?
