The Family That Preys
Alice Pratt was a hardworking Christian woman who reared her two daughters while also running a little diner of her own on the side. She had two daughters: Andrea, who is snooty and haughty, who majored in Economics and now works for a construction business, and Pam, who stayed with Alice and worked at the diner. Andrea is married to Chris, a construction worker who works for the same company as his wife but has ambitions to start his own firm. Andrea and Chris have two children. However, she is having an affair with their boss, William Cartwright, and is therefore unfaithful to him. Alice's best friend, the affluent Charlotte Cartwright, is the father of William, who is Alice's boyfriend. While Alice and Charlotte are on a road trip, William's ambition and infidelity set off a chain of events that will have far-reaching consequences for the relationships in both of their families.
