The Father
Vasil has recently lost his long-term life girlfriend, Ivanka. When a woman at her burial reports that the deceased woman contacted her cellphone, Vasil seeks the assistance of a well-known psychic in order to contact his wife. His son Pavel tries to reason with him, but Vasil is adamant about doing things his way... Grozeva and Valchanov return with an intimate family drama about the difficulties of connecting with those nearest to us, following the globally successful The Lesson and Glory. As the film progresses, many of the deliberately constructed ludicrous or funny scenarios typical of the Bulgarian filmmaking partnership are revealed.
