The Legend of Johnny Lingo
When a tornado washes a canoe bearing a baby child ashore upon a tiny South Pacific island, he goes to first popular as a present from the heavens, even to the point of the tribal chief embracing him as a successor. Nevertheless, with time as difficulties are condemned upon Tama (as he is called), he is finally derelict to cope with the poorest individuals on the island, Mahana and her inebriated dad.
