The Lift
A lift starts behaving in a weird way, like trapping people at a party and almost suffocating them, and cutting off a security guard's head, so people don't get hurt. Felix, a technician from the lift company, can't figure out what's wrong with the circuitry, so he can't fix it. When he and a nosy reporter start asking questions about the lift company's electronics partner, Rising Sun Electronics, his boss takes him off the clock. A visit to a professor after that makes them think that some bad experiments are being done.
