Tom of Finland
Touko Laaksonen, a decorated officer, returns home following a difficult and courageous experience serving his nation during WWII, but life in postwar Finland proves equally distressing. He discovers a rampant Helsinki during peacetime, with homosexuals being persecuted and males around him being forced to marry women and have children. Touko takes solace in his freeing art, which specializes in homoerotic drawings of naked strong guys. His work-immortalized by his signature 'Tom of Finland'–became the symbol of an entire generation of men and fueled the flames of a gay revolution.
