Julián receives a surprise visit in Madrid from his long-time friend Tomás, who now resides in Canada. Julián, who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, is focused on getting his affairs in order, whilst Tomás is still holding out hope. The two guys traverse the city for four days, accompanied by Julián's devoted dog, Truman, and have emotional, amusing, and unexpected encounters.
