WALLE is the sole survivor of a garbage-strewn Earth where humanity have fled to deep space. He's been trying to clean up the mess for 700 years, but he's grown some strange human-like characteristics in the process. WALL-E thinks he's finally made a mate when a spacecraft with a sleek new sort of robot comes and stows away on the ship before it departs.
