Marina, who is now 23, lives with her architect father in a town near the sea. They live in a town that makes prototypes. She doesn't want to be near humans because she finds them strange and disgusting. Instead, she chooses to look at it through the songs of Suicide, the mammal documentaries of Sir David Attenborough, and the sexual-education lessons she gets from her only friend, Bella, who is her only friend. A stranger comes to town and asks her to play foosball on her own table. Her father, on the other hand, is making sure everything is ready for him to leave the 20th century, which he thinks is "too good." With help from her collaborator, Bella, Marina tries to figure out why humans have so many different kinds of animals. She is caught between the two men and Bella.
