France, 1425. During the Hundred Years' War, when Jeannette was just 8 years old, she took care of her sheep in the small village of Domremy. One day, she tells her friend Hauviette that she can't stand to see how much the English hurt people. A nun named Madame Gervaise tries to talk some sense into the young girl, but Jeannette is ready to take up arms to save souls and free the Kingdom of France.
