Little Women
Autobiographical narrative of Louisa May Alcott's life in Concord, Massachusetts, during the 1860s, as told via her three sisters. Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth are staying at home with their mother, who is a very outspoken woman for her period. While their father is away fighting in the Civil War, the sisters are at home with their mother. The plot revolves around the sisters' development as they get older, fall in love, and discover their place in the world.
