When college coach Herb Brooks is hired to lead the 1980 U.S. men's Olympic hockey team, he brings a unique and brash style to the ice. After putting together a team of hot-tempered college all-stars, who are humiliated in their first game, Brooks unites his team to fight the heavily favored Soviet team, which is a common enemy.
