Doris Day, in her film debut, plays Georgia Garrett, a vocalist sent out by jealous better half Elvira Kent on a sea cruise ship to masquerade as herself while she secretly stays home to catch her hubby disloyalty. Meanwhile similarly questionable spouse Michael Kent has sent a private investigator on the exact same cruise to capture his partner unfaithful. Love and complication follows in addition to plenty of music numbers.
