Seven Years in May
Seven years ago, Rafael returned home one evening from work to discover that strangers had come searching for him. He fled promptly without turning around. His life changed from that point forward, as if the night had never finished. One evening, beside an improvised fire near a factory, he decides to tell a stranger about his travels. The personal experience of Rafael intersects with the collective testimony of a nation afflicted by poverty, police repression, and institutional corruption.
