November 1944. On the swamped isle of Walcheren, Zeeland, countless Allied soldiers are fighting the German military. Three young lives become totally attached. A Dutch kid fighting for the Germans, an English glider pilot and a woman from Zeeland attached to the resistance versus her will, are required to make crucial selections that impact both their own freedom and the liberty of others.
