Eden of the East
Japanese anime series Eden of the East premiered on Fuji TV's noitaminA time slot on April9, 2009. Character designs were created by Chika Umino and animation production was handled by Production I.G. The first original noitaminA series is based on a Kamiyama original narrative. On September26,2009, a limited run of Eden of the East Compilation: Air Communication, a compilation of the TV series, was released in theaters. There have also been two further theatrical releases. It was released in Japan on November28,2009, with the second film, Eden of the East: The Movie II: Paradise Lost, releasing March13, 2010. Funimation Entertainment has obtained North American distribution rights to both the TV show and the movie. The FUNimation Channel premiered the show in North America on December27, 2010.
