Hazel
The American sitcom Hazel follows the story of a fictitious live-in maid named Hazel Burke and the Baxters, the family that she works for. Screen Gems was the studio that was responsible for producing the show, which ran for a total of 154 episodes during its five seasons and aired in primetime from September 28, 1961 to April 11, 1966. The show's first four seasons were shown on NBC, and then CBS took over for the fifth and final season of the show's run. The first season was all in black and white with the exception of one color episode; the rest of the season was in color. The show was adapted from the well-known single-panel comic strip "Ted Key's Saturday Evening Post," which was created by cartoonist Ted Key and published in that publication.
