Strange things begin to happen in the small New Mexico town where UFOs were first reported in 1947. In 1999, a high school student saves the life of a teenage waitress thanks to his attractiveness. At school, they create an unlikely friendship that threatens the existence of a hidden world that includes a love for spicy sauce, superhuman skills and an extraterrestrial gene pool.
