Spider-Man: The New Animated Series
Spider-Man: The New Animated Series is an American animated show based on the Marvel comic book superhero Spider-Man. It began on July 11, 2003, and ran for 13 episodes over one season. It is a loose continuation of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film from 2002. The show was made with computer-generated images done in cel shading, and it was shown on MTV and YTV. Eight months after the series ended, episodes were shown again on ABC Family as part of the Jetix television programming block. In the show, the character was a lot older than it usually is in animated comic book adaptations. Throughout the series, characters are clearly killed instead of just going missing, and it's clear that several of them have had sex.
