Street Fighter II: V
The video game Street Fighter II served as inspiration for the creation of the anime series Street Fighter II: V. The series, which was initially broadcast on YTV in Japan in 1995 and was directed by Gisaburo Sugii, ran from April 10 until November 27 of that same year. In 1996, the dubbing group Animaze and Manga Entertainment developed an English adaptation of the series, and in 1997–1998 it was distributed on VHS in both Australia and the United States. 1997 saw the production of an English dub by ADV Films, which was made specifically for the UK market and was made available on VHS. In North America, the Animaze/Manga dub was made available on DVD for the first time on April 29, 2003, in a set consisting of four discs.
